If you’re looking for a simple aiming system, one that easily understood, so you can correct your miss shots, I would recommend the Joe Tucker’s aiming by numbers. Imagine the numbers on the CB and OB just like a fractional of a ball. You only have to imagine the number for the contact point on the OB and it’s the same number on the opposite side of the CB. The mental note of the numbers come in handy when aliening the cue to imaginary line between the two numbers. I’ve only to try this out of video pool.



Yesterday I was trying to find an easy way to figure out the angle to the pocket and remembered the Joe Tucker’s aiming system that I didn’t pay much attention to before. I thought I would project a quarter of the numbered ball system to the rail and divide the rail into equal part of 0-9 the pocket being the number for the contact point. Then I was going the use a fractional ball aim but I found out if the cue ball angle changes a small amount so does the fractional ball aim point.
