I am looking for a new sneaky pete and was just wondering what these run for now? quality wise how do they play? thanks for any help.

A new one runs $220 to $240, but I think his old stuff hits better, i have a lot of friends that have one

Al Romero

I have an older one that I will never get rid of. Bought it in '91' after I sold the original one I had from '88'.

I got one for $180 a year or so ago, but I think he gave me a break because of delay in finishing the cue. Mine hits great.

I just bought the sneaky pete this morning from a friend, im not sure how old it is, but it has an older style finish with a micarta ring at the joint of the butt and a ring at the joint of the two shafts that it came with. It is also has the jump stick conversion. I payed 175 for the cue.

good pick up

My cue from Al has no "hard finish" to it. He may have hand rubbed some oil or wax based sealer on it but I am not sure. Sound like you got a fair deal to me at 175.00
