Alan Martel, World Championships ???

Alan Martel won the 2004 Canadian Cue sports Championship, $6500 and an all expense paid trip the the world nine ball championship.I searched for his name amongst the 128 players listed within the 16 different groups and couldn't find it anywhere.Does anyone know why he isn't playing? Just curious. RJ
 
Alain Martel won an all expenses paid trip to the 2005 WPC, the top 4 finishers at nationals land a spot in the next years WPC, so next year Martel, Eric Hjorlefson (sp?), Salvas, and I don't know who the fourth is will be representing Canada in WPC.
