Align tail stock on Mid Size Cuesmith lathe

Just wondering if anyone has a simple way to align the tailstock on a Mid Size lathe. Mine’s just slightly out, but would like to true it up since I now have the TIR at .001. Thanks for any help.

If your runout is .001" why would you want to keep monkeying with it.

Put identical ground dowel pins in both the head and tailstock. Run a coss slide mounted dial indicator across both dowel pins until they read the same. Find the middle point of run out on the headstock dowel pin first and align the tailstock to it.
