Does anybody know anything about Allen Green out of Houston Texas. His cues seem to post and sell for well below market for the amount of time and craftmanship that they took to make. If any of you have purchased fom him or have played with one, your input would be greatly appreciated.

I have not played with one of his cues, but have known him for some time. I know that when he orders something and says he is sending payment, he does what he says and that says a lot for someone. When someone proves to be reliable in business transactions it shows they give attention to details.

Alan likes to build "Old School" looking cues. I bought one from him off of Ebay because I was curious. The cue looked like a good deal. I got it and was very pleased with the execution and playability. I liked it and sold it so I could order another from him of my design and specs.
The cue came just as I wanted, nicely crafted and a solid player.
If you want a SS 5/16x14 piloted Old School cue at a reasonable price Alan is your Cue Maker. He is a real nice guy to work with also and you won't have to wait forever for your cue. Here are pics of the one I ordered. Good Luck!

That is a hell of a cue and congrats. I thought that is what I would hear but since you dont see much of his work out there just looking for backup. I was thinking about taking like you did and then get exactly what I wanted too. I am kicking myself for missing out on two that just sold on ebay that were WAY below the level of work in them. Thanks for the info.
