We though some of you would enjoy seeing photo's of incredibly super high end Amboyna Burl from the burl to the slab to the forearm. We just cut these up today.
Here is a huge Burl in the first photo; approximately 250lbs. The second photo shows the burl cut in half so that it was barely more manageable to slice. Photo's 3 thru 9 show the various slabs. Last is photo 10 showing incomparable, incredibly high end Amboyna Burl Forearms numbered 1 thru 4 with 5 being just an acceptable quality for comparison.
Amboyna is the most beautiful wood you can use in any project from cues to knives, to humidors to whatever you think up. And, high end Amboyna is exceptional as shown in the final photo of the forearms. We're glad to offer all of you a clear understanding of what exceptional Amboyna looks like as opposed to mediocre Amboyna which seems to be currently available, if at all.
