I got a message on my answering machine saying Angelo (DeAngelo) Rivera passed away earlier this past Saturday from his sister. The world lost another really intelligent sweet man with his passing. He was the inventor of the DeAngelo leather seaming fixture and template guide for cutting the radiuses on the end of the leather wraps.
 
In December of 06 I was lucky enough to get the last fixture that Atlas sold. They said they were out but contacted him one last time. He had enough parts around for one. At least that’s what I was told. They pulled their add for it shortly after.
 
A Prayer From Angelo's sister.

I am posting the whole letter I received today from Angelo's sister along with the prayer she asked me to post.

Hi, Chris..

I was Googling his 'DeAngelos Leather wrap Fixture;, as I have all the papers and C.D. that he left me, and saw your kind comment. Thanks, ever so much for writing this:

I tried to post a comment, but was told by the system, that I wasn't allowed to post a comment. Anyhow, we were deeply religious and Angelo was more like a Father to me, than a Brother, as he raised me, from the time I was born. I love him very much and am finding very hard to accept this loss.

So, can you post this prayer for me, there ?

May Mary, the Angels, and all the saints come to meet you as you go forth from this life.

May Christ, the Good Shepherd, give you a place within His flock.

May He forgive your sins and keep you among His people.

May you see your Redeemer face to face and enjoy the sight of God forever.
