Has anyone tried the Annie O shafts?? Or does someone own one that can give some feedback on it?? If you don't know much about them, here is a link so you can read more about them. Thanks in advance.

I have one of her AO-E shafts fitted on my Ivory jointed Buss titlist conversion. Hits awesome- took awhile to get used to the funky taper she uses, It is a reverse taper for the first 6 inches ( large to small ) and then swells like a european tapered shaft from there on. Plays great, much more solid with better feel than the predator or her other NT shaft (I have both) I recommend it for nine ball, very easy to move the ball around the table and spin the rock.

A reverse taper? Surely that would add a pivot point six inches from the ferrule? Or is this some cunning squirt reduction concept?

That's what I was thinking. But maybe it is something for squirt reduction.
 
very interesting way to reduce squirt. as far as an extra pivot point, havent tried to see if it is, will do that this weekend, but I can tell you that you can see the vibration or flex of the shaft 'die' at the end of the reverse taper. Plays great, 200 might be to steep to try it out- but if you have the cash, and dont mind, give one a play.

Three of my shafts have received the reverse taper treatment, and the answer is an emphatic "yes" that squirt is reduced. Two of the shafts are Meucci blaci-dots, the other is from a whale of a sneaky pete.

Besides reducing squirt, this treatment juices the shafts.
