The Finest Mid Century Pool Table made in the US.
This is for one 9 foot pool table and a custom made cue rack to match for sale.
Built by Brunswick the 9' Anniversary pool table was manufactured in 1946. This table has been in San Francisco since it was built. The model was designed to commemorate Brunswick's 100th year in business. This mid-century modern table was created by a talented designer, although, information about who designed the table was lost in a fire at the Brunswick's main office.
The 4 1/2' x 9' table has 3-matching pieces of 1" thick slates and walnut rail tops with cast aluminum corners. The two oval shaped legs are laminated with 6 inch polished aluminum bands. The legs are bolted to a massive base frame. The aprons with hand painted pin striping (95 feet) that fit under the rail tops are made of hardwoods contoured to flow into the rounded edge of the rails and the corner castings. This table has a black lacquer finish of many, many coats of primer, base coats and clear coats for a very deep and rich finish.
This table was featured in the San Francisco's Designer's Showcase House May of 2008.
Included with the table is a matching custom made cue rack. The Anniversary Custom Cue rack was created to match the Anniversary table. This rack is new and has never been used. It has the same cast aluminum corners and the finish is in the same black lacquer. The rack holds ten cues that are highlighted by three halogen lamps with a mirror in the middle. There are also three sets of aluminum bars to hold the pool balls. The deep and rich finish is a black lacquer with many coats of primer, base coats and clear coats. The rack can be free standing or wall mounted. The measurements are 74" high by 41" wide and 7" deep.
The price for both table and rack together is $16,600.
For table only the price is $13,200 and the cue rack only is $3,700
