The other center ball thread got me thinking of how I learned and why I didn't feel like I had a problem with using too much side spin. I realized that I developed a lot of experience using only center because 9 months out of the year I play on barboxes. With barboxes, side english isn't as necessary to move the ball long distances and simple paths are more desirable. Does anyone else feel this way? I think it is a good experience to play on both 9' and 7' tables regularly to hone your game.[
