you never know if the pro really thinks he will make the ball on a kick
but this one had a great chance since it was laying so naturally
hit point to make the ball almost exactly opposite from where the cue ball was
easy to calculate

This isn't even in the same discussion as Efren's Z kick.

It's a one rail kick to the opposite spot on the opposite short rail. As the previous post suggested, it was lined up almost naturally for contact and only needed a slight bit of luck to score.
