another shaft and pin size

I have had a B cue shaft(name?) for a few years now that is suppose to be 3/8 10 I have been using it on a Singapore Sawdust cue that is also suppose to be 3/8 10, however I was checking tonight out of curiosity what the fit was like. to preface I haven't played a lot in the last 4 years neck fusion and shoulder replacement. when I checked the fit I noticed the fit was a little loose with the B cue shaft. However, my question is how would this shaft fit and work with a 3/8 10 modified? and if not at all can most cue guys be able to take this Italian shaft and make it work with a 3/8 10. The reason for the question is that I want to try out a Viking Cue with a modified 3/8 10 pin.
TIA
please don't bad too hard again haven't played in a minute.

Do a Google search……compare the two joints for compatibility…..you’ll see that it may not be interchangeable.

I ran into this when I got my Rhino CF shaft.

I went to put it on my Diveney which is 3/18-10 modified. It was SUPER tight. I screwed it onto my McDermott which is standard 3/8-10 and it fit perfectly.

Much to my surprise I tried it again on my Diveney and it fit perfectly. Sometimes there's not much difference and basically chasing the threads can make it fit.

I would assume if I were to have just screwed and unscrewed it on the Diveney a few dozen times it probably would have fit after the internal threads were polished/worn a bit.
