Another used GC3 question

Found another one and have a few questions. TIA!! found a seller getting rid of several GC3's. I only need 1 - here is the catch/question: they have all been in storage [disasembled] since 2008. Should this worry me? States all slate is marked for each table as are bolts etc. I am not an expert so looking at them won't necessarily help other then general condition. I assume new rubber will be a must? Sitting that long bad/doesnt matter?
Pics of what I was sent...you all have a sharper eye then I do :)
Also, what should I expect to pay for new cloth - 860, and new rubber installed? Thanks.

I would plan for new rubber. Sitting in storage can do a number on them.

Depending on who you have do the work for you, and which cushions you select, I would expect the cost to be around $1200. Though, you will want to be sure to have a good installer do the work. The slates could be a bit squirrelly, and could require some special attention to get them level.

They are newer III's. They may be in relatively decent condition. However, given the quantity that he has, they were likely in a commercial setting. Hard to say, without closer inspection, what kind of condition that they are in.

Given how they are stored, and the fact that they were likely commercial tables, I'm inclined to think $600 max. However, some may disagree with me here. I guess it all depends on how badly you want a Gold Crown.

Pretty sure anytime you buy a used GC it will need some work.
They are discounted so far from new retail it shouldn't be a big deal.
When I bought mine I had my mechanic pick it up and look it over first.
My mechanic is fortunately a friend and opponent at the table so I trusted him.
When I got the nod from him I sent the funds via PayPal.
You might consider a similar arrangement.
