Hello 14.1 forum,
I finally put up the camera again at home and was playing some 14.1 after my kids went to bed the other night...ran 14 and screwed up trying to make something better instead of taking what the table offered me on the last ball of rack 1 (stick in rack, BIH break shot) Of course I missed a shot I routinely make in other practice runs, the head spot break shot. When I reset for another break shot I run the 36 and miss a shot with my cheap bridge - I actually have to balance it on a point to get elevated. I probably should've shot left handed, or maybe shot the 3 with more confidence and not left myself in this situation. I had a couple other tough shots in the run mainly from not getting enough angle on my break shots. In the second rack I have like an 75/80 deg cut shot into the side on the 14 ball after I get nervous and cinch stroke the 4 ball and come up short on the 14 secondary break. I made it but this is a low percentage shot and I know I cannot consistently run a lot of balls shooting shots like this one. In a game I would've had to play safe.
I am still fighting the mental game of not being loose after I get above 30 balls.
Anyway, another run ended. I welcome any and all feedback.
