Hello,

I'm new around the forum, and have been playing pool a few months now. I'm just thinking about buying a table, nothing is set in stone yet. I would like to have something that I can fold up and get out of the way when company comes, because we have a perfect spot upstairs but my parents said no because it will be in the way whenever someone wants to use the guest bed (hardly ever) I was thinking a decent 7' table, nothing real special but just so I can play a bit when I'm around the house and only have 30 minutes or so (closest pool place is atleast 1 hr round trip not playing for even a minute) and I was curious as to how easy it is to take off the legs and pull one apart, and lean it up against the wall for example.. This would happen maybe once every 2 months, not often at all.. I would always have my brother as well as myself to pull it down, so it wouldn't be a big problem as we are both fairly strong.

Anyone have any ideas, brands to stay away from, personal experience?

Thanks in advance!

Will

Ummm...yeah

You're options are pretty limited. I would try and find one of those honeycombed tables if you're going to be moving it around...instead of slate they have a honeycombed plastic piece...

I don't know where you could find one either.
Check around locally, I'm sure there is somthing out there to fill your needs...

You might check out a 7' Valley bar box. The legs come off pretty easily and you could lean the table bed against a wall. Two strong guys should have no problem moving it.

I don't know if 7' Diamonds are made the same way.

Thanks for the replies guys, I found just what you had been talking about for cheap, but my parents changed their mind atleast for now and said we can not buy one. My brother and I will be moving out soon and will find a good 9' table so I'm not too worried.. Thanks again for your replies.
