Ok fellas, this is one hard decision. I've had the fortune to be the owner of this beast of a table for the last 4 years, but as things change (aka having a baby and limited space in the house), my table's days may be numbered. On the one hand I'm compelled to break her down (using a professional pool table moving company) and put her into storage - which I'd love to get some input on (eg, we have storage space under the house, would it be sensible to wrap each piece for a future time, like when I have enough dough for a bigger house?).
Even if it's possible to safely store it, I tend to feel that it's shameful to bury a work of art like this in the dark until who knows when... So if I do opt to sell it (tearing up a bit), what's she worth?
As for the table's condition, I'd put it at an 8/10 or 9/10. A few minor bumps and scratches. The 1.5" slate is in impeccable condition, so are the rails, and the only thing missing is the pocket shields (which i understand can be had about $150-$200). I'm in the SF Bay Area.
