pls. posts updates on any action involving Orcollo here. I wish somebody other than the filipinos woud try him out in some 10ball. Maybe there's a player out there who thinks his title of "Money Game King" is a joke or would like to relinquish him of the title. That would be fun.

I think all his action was blown. There's too much "easy" money why take on a world beater?

action?

why dont you try and play him. Since you want his title taken down so bad your self.

I think Filipino players are still the best in the game of pool does'nt matter what to play.

comprende?

orcollo gave chris bartram the wild 8/9 playing 10-ball ten ahead for 6000 with about 3-4000 in side bets... jason miller was breaking for bartram... orcollo dusted him... the guy is scary.. really.. if you have never seen him play you are really missing out... word around here is they are trying to match him and efren up.. wouldn't you guys who aren't here hate that?

ill keep you posted...

I'm a fan of Dennis'. That's why I started the thread. I but merely wanted somebody to try and wrestle his title away from him thinking as it might make for good action, albeit futile. comprende? LOL!

Filipinos rarely play each other for money outside of the Phillipines. When they do play its not for much money, its usually just to keep sharp until some real action comes. They save the big money matches with each other back in the Phillipines. It's kind of like a comraderie thing, they want to make money from other countries and bring it home.

HitHrdNDraw, what was the score and how many sets?

One set 10-ahead so that was the score, orcollo 10-ahead... don't know how long it took exactly but it wasn't long

He was the big winner in the 10 ball ring game last night, and finally everyone just got tired of him running out and quit...

kirkwood broke.
not miller.
bartram hates his break.
dennis scratched 5x early.
if he didn't do that, the game would have only taken an hour.
dennis drilled him.

After the ring game broke up last night, Jay Helfert announced that the following players would play in a ring game tonight at midnight for 100 per game, per player: Johnnie Archer, Corey Duel, Dennis Orcollo, Francisco Bustamonte and (I think) Efren. That would be the strongest 10-ball ring game of all time IMHO with arguably the best 10-ball players on the planet. Hope it comes off, but I've got doubts that anyone in the world wants any part of Dennis right now. A friend of mine who has been around top-level pool for 30 years saw Dennis in Atlanta a few months ago and told me he is the best side-game 9 or 10-ball player he's ever seen (and he's seen 'em all). The only player who makes the game look as easy as he does is maybe Buddy Hall, back in his prime. If he can ever consistently park his rock on the break like Busty, I don't think he'll be beatable by anyone. Hope BCN gets rid of the glitches before tonight!

I think it is Parica instead of Efren per the BCN website. How come Dennis does not have any major titles yet if he is that good? I think he is better at money games compared to tournament. I hope that the BCN broadcast is back before midnight so we can watch the ring game between Deuel, Archer, Bustamante, Parica and Dennis. Also, I want to watch the finals of the banks division scheduled at 9 pm tonight. If Efren wins this, then he has a good chance of the all around title.

So Dennis is really hot right now. I was not impressed with him the 2nd night in the ring game. Of course, he hardly had any time on the table and he had to leave right away because of the money match with Chris Bartram.

How come Dennis does not do too well in tournament games? Here is a man who has not won any major tournaments yet and yet he is favored right now against more experienced and famous players.

It is a pity I was not able to stay late last night when he was in the ring game. How much did they play for? $50 or $100 per game? Here is the way it was described in the front page of azbilliards:

Orcollo was the man on Sunday night as he competed in a ring game with Jon Hennessee, Sparky Ferrell, Richie Orem and Corey Deuel. Orcollo broke and ran five racks and that was the end of the ring game. :) :)

Hope they broadcast the ring game scheduled tonight when they have their system back by tomorrow.

They were playing $50/game. Orcullo broke and ran 3 in a row I believe, and had 5 B&R together. Only a couple others had a win here and there. Since it didn't last too long, I guess Denis only took about $1000 for the hour or so they played.

I'd be surprised to see Archer in it... I haven't seen him here yet.

I was wrong... I saw Archer about an hour after I posted this.
