Is there any interest in an ebony on ebony 3 veneered Southwest with three original 13mm shafts in 99% condition? A friend of mine might be willing to sell his if he can get $2,700 for it to finance a higher end cue.
The cue is basically new with each shaft test hit only. It is a pre-date Jerry Franklin cue meaning no logo or date on the pin. It has 6 hi-lo gaboon ebony points with 3 veneers (white, red, white) into a macassar ebony forearm. The butt sleeve is gaboon ebony with a macassar ebony band separated with white, red, white rings. The wrap is black with white specks. It has three original 13mm shafts. The cue is 58" but he doesn't remember what the weight was so I'll have to weigh it later. He doesn't have a scale but I do. It's been in storage a long time but he said everything is straight. Southwest's triple veneered cue cost more than the more common double or single veneered cue and an extra shaft costs about $225 more.
He and I do not have a digital camera. If there is serious interest in the cue I'll drive 30 min to pickup the cue and another 45 min to drive to another friend's house to use his camera to take pics to post. Please PM me only if you are seriously interested. Thanks, Cory.
