Any table time better than no table time

I guess with the exception of gamblers do you agree or disagree. I am a strong advocate for practice (once again) so back in the days I would practice regardless of how i felt just to gain the experience and know what i was capable of under those circumstances, I would even practice dead tired just so i could know how i perform in the event of a long match (i'm a master grinder now, lol)

But I haven't done any "real training" in a while like practice at the most none pool etiquette place just to over come distractions, but last week i went to practice and wasn't really feeling it and thus felt like i was just hitting ball and going through the motions and this made me a bit upset and made me ask the above question. Luckily I stuck around long enough to play this guy some bar box (i don't play BB) and pretty much drilled him to the point where he quit "he made 1 mistake on the few matches he got to shoot which aggravated him more) this made me go home a bit more relieved that i probably would of.

I did learn something from my practice session so I don't count it as a loss but this could of been luck and is not guaranteed
