i know earl is the king of gadgets, but does anybody recognize what he has on the fingers of his bridge hand? Its early on in the ny times video, like the first 20 seconds or so. It looks like a heavier duty of the finger wraps, but its only on his middle finger and thumb it appears.

It's finger slides. I guess he didn't want to wear his glove. That was a good video. It was short and had good information about his take on pool.

do you recognize the brand? those look way beefier than the ones i bought off ebay, his almost look like they are made out of the material like you see in an ankle or wrist brace.

I think he's using Moleskin...cut to fit, it adheres to the skin, with a fuzzy side out...it's used to put around blisters on the feet...

They are finger wrap thingies for diabetics or some such he gets at Rite Aid. He gave me some when I took a lesson from him a while back. They act like the material on a billiard glove sort of.
