Second option question.

I have been considering a order a Whitten Model 42-F (2x4 Case with the Two Pouches & Padded Carry Strap), in a previous post.

Another Member “POZ” posted a link to Murnak Vintage Cue Case that I had never seen before, but look great also.

I was wondering if any Murnak Vintage Cue Case owners would share their like and dislike of their Cases.

I am wonder if the pockets on the Vintage Cases are lined, or bare leather?

They're lined with Cordura Nylon, the same stuff that lines the tubes. It is very strong and won't wear out.

I love mine. The leather and hardware are top quality, the pockets are roomy (I have standard pockets on a Vintage case, can't speak for normal Vintage pockets), the spacers Jim provides work great to get the butt and shafts up to the desired level, the case is beautiful, and Jim is great to work with.

My case is the one on the right in the link below.

just received my 2x4 vintage on fri. must say the wait is worth it. the workmanship is excellent and jim is good to work with. the only change i would make is to get the zipper conpartments like the 2102.
