I am looking for a 9ft table for my house. One table I am considering is made by Global Billiard Company. A pool hall in Hilliard Ohio (Just outside of Columbus) has 18 of them. They are a "knock off" of the old Brunswick Anniversery and look similar to the new Gibson table but in all black with chromed corner castings. My question is has anyone played on them to let me know how they play, rails, pockets ect. Also, considering a Gabriel, Ohlhausen champion pro and Brunswick Gibson. Thanks.

I've played on a global 9' table only once. And a few matches on global barboxes. I am not a huge fan of them. I can't really give specifics and part of it is the ones I have played on weren't the best maintained, etc.... But I just didn't quite like the rails and pockets, etc... Nothing real major I can remember to complain about though. I like brunswicks and have a brunswick 8'. I really like the looks of the gibson. So with the space I would personally choose the gibson if the cost difference doesn't matter to you much. I can't comment on the olhausen really and I have no idea of the gabriel. My one cent worth FWIW.;)
