Anyone familiar with Robertson Billiard MFG?

I found a 9ft table that I am looking to purchase and wanted to see if someone is familiar with the table? How it plays, also I took some pictures of the slate and was wondering if they appear (looks like some chips on the bottom edge) to be in good condition? Any information will be greatly appreciated, I will be making the purchase tomorrow.

Those chips on the edge are no big deal as the rails cover that up when installed. What do the mating surfaces look like?

I’d pass on it, no slate frame, and looks like 3/4” inch thick. Might be an Anniversary knock off (Asian import), Robertson’s is still open in Tampa and Sarasota. Just Googled them and it appears that they are dealers for Golden West, Connelly and Brunswick.

It does have a slate frame I took the wrong angle picture. My concern is mainly that I don't know much about the rails, playability........ Also its already disassembled so I really can't get a feel for it. They are selling for $500.00 but it will cost another $825 to put together (in Alabama, its $525 for assembly and $250 to $300 for a simonis cloth) and if the rails needs to be upgraded, it will be an additional cost. So I just don't know if its worth the potential investment. I'd be happy to get a 9ft commercial grade table that plays nice for about $1300 but with all the unknowns, it could become cost prohibitive. I was looking for a used Diamond or GCs but I can't find neither around $3000.00. I found a Diamond in New Orleans for $3500.00 but can't get a mechanic to move it (plus I don't know how much they'll charge to do that) this is the only reason I am considering this table.

Pass...be patient... save up and buy a table you'll enjoy with no headaches.
