I was browsing through the web and out of curiosity I was searching for distributors for special Chinese 8ball cues.
Turns out, that there isn`t much information out there and the cues that are sold for this game are more or less snooker cues with bigger tips.

So I was wondering if anybody here has some infos on this cues, on how they play, if they play similar to snooker cues or if they are similar to pool cues with an ash shaft etc.

Thx in advance!

I assume you mean POOL cues...don't know of cues specifically for 8-ball.
Predator cues have been mad in China for quite a while...among many other well
known brands.
You have probably hit with lots of Chinese cues.

Pretty sure he means cues made to play Chinese 8-ball. Not Chinese-made cues to play 8-ball with.

Chinese 8-ball is played with 2.25 pool balls...so a pool cue is fine with them.
...we have one in our room.

I know that the pool pros play with their pool cues when they go to tournaments in China, same as the snooker players use their snooker cues.

But Gareth Potts for example has a special made cue, which is more or less a snooker cue with a bigger tip...I guess its similar to the cues Mark Gray, Tony Drago or Steve Davis play when they play 9-ball.
So I was wondering if someone has used such a cue and has any infos about how they play etc.
