Put some CSI rules into Google Trans. Works but real tedious. 5000 character limit per.

@Good Sam
i think your link will be exactly what he is looking for

your link would be good for his opponent to know if he decides to play leagues

i skimmed thru the apa manual and found a few unusual rules
since i dont play much 8 ball
is this the rules you guys follow ?
on the break you can only hit the front ball or the second row of balls (csi rules say you can hit anywhere on the stack)
make the 8 on the break....you WIN!!!!!!! (csi rules say the 8 ball gets spotted and opponent has ball in hand or rerack and break)

Those are the APA rules, many leagues have the 8 on the break is a win rule also. I though hitting only the first 2 balls was a rule in all rule sets.

Yup. And the most annoying rule in 8 is “take what you make on the break.”

I believe I heard it explained here on AZB once that when Hubbert and Bell used to play with the pro's, pro 8-ball used "take what you make" for 8-ball. Just my recollection, which could very well be spotty.
