Anyone here try Triple 60 shafts ??

I have a black 13mm break shaft. I've used it on 3 different cues with 3 different pins. Super cool. But I don't play with it. Just breaking. Which I like. Seems to be low deflection but I don't put much english on my break shots. Also the carbon fiber is nice. Doesnt scuff or ding. I use a wood shaft on my playing cue and dings are anoying. If I were to get a carbon playing shaft I would likely buy the wood colored Triple 60.

Thanks for replying. I took the plunge on the triple 60 playing shaft 12.75. So I guess in a couple weeks I will know.

Curious too. The wood look is awesome but that could be just resin. Also the joint adapters remind me of hardware store stuff.

I've got one of the Whyte Carbon 11.75 shafts before they were triple 60 . It's the raw black . I like it and the interchangeable joint seems quality not hardware store stuff at all. I've also got a newer white one but I like the surface of the raw black one better.

I'd like to see an in-depth review and maybe a comparison to other cf stuff. I'm sure they're nice but i find it REALLY hard to believe that they're worth $400+ more than Raven/Rhino stuff.

I find the ability to change joint threads interesting and if you have multiple joint types then one shaft at $600 might be cheaper than multiple shafts.
I also like the fact that they offer more diameter options like 12.75.
If I knew all that from the start, I would have probably gone with this shaft.

But knowing myself and my curiosity, I probably would have not have stopped there and probably gotten other shafts to test.

I have 4 different CF shafts, l can tell the difference in deflection between them but it would only come up in extreme test shots.
In normal play, no need to change the way I aim, maybe a bit with the Rhino on very tight pockets.
When it comes to power, I find that the Revo with a 12.9mm diameter, is more powerful than the others that are 12.5 and between those, the hardness of the tip is what really makes the difference.
I doubt that the Triple 60 at 12.5mm will be much different than those.

I got a weird scratch on the Cynergy ferrule, don’t know how it got there… I saw a few online video of replacing a busted ferrule on Cynergy shafts, maybe it has a soft ferrule, I don’t really know.

I like the fit and finish of the Cynergy, I think that at $400 it sits in the middle and performs like the more expensive shafts.

I don’t like Rhino’s fit and finish and their customer service. Otherwise they could have been a higher option in my book.

I had a hard time at first getting used to 12.5mm so I got a 12.9 Revo, which helped me getting more comfortable with CF shafts. I don’t like it’s sound of the hit, vould be the hard tip I have on it.

I guess, my favorite right now is the JFlowers SMO shaft.

I have a Raven break shaft so I can’t really compare it’s playability

I have broken two rhino cues with no warranty support so yea Rhino is out
☠️
What happened?
Is there anything about your play that may have contributed to damage?
Used as break cue?
Played when cue tip worn down to a sliver?
Accidental hitting ceiling or lights?
Got photos?
What did Rhino say about warranty support? 🇻🇳

They never responded. Broke 2 ferrules playing 9 ball. I have a rhino break shaft I use for breaking. Idk in how much different the break cue is but it is perfectly fine.

AZer cuemakers warn that professionals only should install but you may want to install a Rhino $5 ferrule. I bought one for my 10.5mm Rhino and it measures 8.6mm plug, 9.6mm height, and 13.6mm cap. The cap requires filing but the plug may fit with super glue.

others have had issues and were taken care of. no clue what happened in your case. gillions have bought them worldwide and love them. best cf shaft for the $$ by a mile.
I felt the exact same way about mine and the playability is unquestionable, but the durability is.
