Anyone in the Sacramento area?

Hey guys,

I have to make the trip across country for work at the end of the month, is there any shops that are in the area that wouldn't mind a visitor on a day pass There is no one in my area that really even understands woodworking!

What are you looking to do at someone's shop, just chat about cues?

Tom Coker isn't on AZB, but he has a shop in Sacramento. Not much for prolonged conversation, but he was very nice to me when I came in for a repair a couple years ago.

If you're in Sacramento for a while, do take time to go to the Jointed Cue. It's a great old school pool hall. Hardtimes is also up there.

Ya I heard about Hardtimes as one of my friends moved to Sacramento and is now playing out of there! I will only be in town for 2 weeks just looking to shoot the shit about cues around here people just look at you funny when you tell them you just got in some nice wood I'll have to look for the Jointed Cue while there.
