No, not custom because I've seen other exact models for sale but the sellers didn't know the manufacturer. Oh and it's not live wood, it's a laminate.I think this might be a custom table. Probably not too many manufacturers would use live edges like on that head rail.
I think it might be a Kasson and they were made in Minnesota, I just can't verify it.generic asian import of some kind. these things are shipped by the container load. ok for a family game room but not too suited for any serious play.

kasper and johnson maybe? worked at a place that sold them way back. were any made in the states? they all looked like low-end imports to me.BillMPL: You are correct. Your pool table was built by KASSON. It is one of their early models with the router design. I was a KASSON dealer for many years and sold quite a few of their tables. Here's a question , simply presented as "A fun fact" for enjoyment .... Does anyone know how
and why the name "KASSON" derived from ? I will provide the answer in a few days or so.... or verify if someone else happens to share the correct answer. Have fun and enjoy life... It's the only one you'll have.....
THANK YOU PoolTableMagic! It's nice to finally know for sure what brand it is. Do you perhaps know the model, and was it made in the USA? I think the table is very nice, BUT, the corner pocket mouth flares out so much that you get a lot of rattle which drives me crazy. I was naive when I bought the table and didn't know that pockets could vary so much.BillMPL: You are correct. Your pool table was built by KASSON. Thanks for looking, I appreciate that! I know that the person I purchased it from had it for 15 years and they had bought it used, so it probably is an earlier model. The table still has good action and I like it except for the flared mouths at the pockets. I'm guessing the only way to fix them would be by completely replacing the bumpers.I went thru my KASSON files looking for a picture and any literature showing your table but no luck.
YES, the first 3 letters of Dave's last name and the last 3 letters of Wendy's name created "KASSON".
To the best of my recollection. they were built in the USA. When they expanded into the "furniture style",
I believe is when they "sourced-out" some of their manufacturing processes. I understand your comment
regarding the pockets.... in spite of that, I hope you still enjoy playing....
