Anyone know what tip Action Elite cues have

Action Elite cues have a "10-layered, vacuum-sealed, proprietary boar skin tip." Does that mean they make it themselves or that another company makes it for them exclusively or is it just a standard tip? Thanks in advance if anyone knows.

Man, I sell these damn cues and still can't find out exactly what brand of tip is put on them. It is layered but I don't think it is anything out of the ordinary. The ones in my store seem to hit very hard. Seems harder than a medium tip. Do you own one or are you just considering buying one?

Hey thanks a lot. I've heard of Kamui tips, but don't know anything about them. I just picked up an AE. Played with it once yesterday and was curious about the tip. I think I like it. Seems like a good quality cue for how inexpensive it is. (I know some of you are probably cringing after reading that.) Ivorene-3 ferrule, AAA maple shaft. I like the wood to wood joint. I had a Pechauer with the same joint and the two cues feel nothing alike, though.

Hey man, as long as you like the way it hits, that is all that matters. A word of advice though. Be careful with the butt cap on those. They are made of wood on most of them and are prone to splitting if you get a little rough. I've had a couple come back because of this. Of course it wasn't the customers fault the butt cap shattered....lol
