If you did, did you go though with it?

Maybe "I will practice 2 hours every other day with total focus" or something?
Or "I will win that tournament I keep coming in 3rd in"?

Mine was to try to figure out what between my stance, arm and head alignment was causing me to see a shot as "good" whereas in reality I'd miss it by an inch even if it was easy. Still working on it but getting more consistent.

I figure 20 years as a "B" player is enough LOL time to move on up if I can.

Not to waste so much time on online forums.

Hasn't worked out too well.

Eh, it's my only "in" to the pool scene. I only play twice a week most of the time and that is in league with my son. I go on here to keep up with what the real players are doing LOL.

Play tournaments

I made a resolution to play tournaments and less challenge matches.

I have even joined league play. I must admit playing for my team is a lot more nerve wrecking than playing for the cash. I played pretty terrible in the beginning but I guess that was just nerves or underestimating my opponent.

There's a guy in my league who has a lifetime win% of 85%. I've been using that as motivation to play harder in league. It's working!

Played two tournaments this year took 7th out of 37 players BB 9ball and chopped a scotch doubles event also on the BB playing 8 ball.

I'm not much of a BB player but I'll admit it has really tightened up my CB and made me rethink more simple shape.

This year & every year..

This year's resolution is going to be an every year resolution. Very simple...run my age in 14.1. I'll be 54 in a couple of weeks.... Hopefully WHEN it happens it will be recorded. I'll keep you posted.
