Anyone need turquoise block?

I found this block of reconstituted webbed turquoise while rearranging furniture the other day. I have no use for it and wondered if anyone here was interested. I'm not sure what this is worth but any reasonable offer plus $10 shipping will be accepted.

I apologize if I've violated a policy about selling items in this forum but this would get lost in the regular "for sale" forum and is probably of more interest to a cuemaker than a player.

Edit: I've been informed that Masecraft currently sells this at $3.13/oz. This block weighs exactly 22.375 oz so take it from there.

How hard is it to cut up into inlay slabs? I have a bandsaw. Also, if you could pm me a ballpark price, I'd appreciate it. Thanks

This was originally a 6" cube that I cut into 1/4" & 1/8" slabs. (This was from about 10 yrs ago when you couldn't find the nicely slabbed material that is available today.) I cut it on my Delta wood cutting bandsaw. It likes coolant - a squirt from a spray bottle now & then suffices - and it's tough on blades. I started with a new blade and cut maybe 18 slabs before the blade died. A slower blade speed would definitely help.

Since the thin slabs are readily available now, I thought this chunk would be nice for making some JPs or really thick trim rings. That would save wear & tear on your saw blade. All you'd really need to do is cut it into (15) 1" squares to make 15 solid turquoise JP bodies. Or...whatever.

Sorry guys but someone just offered me very nice sum for a 2 pc set of JPs. I'll be keeping this chunk after all. Thanks to those who were interested.
