Anyone play D&R Star?

I'm just wondering if anyone in Minnesota area plays in the D&R Star system? I am in the process of trying to get my league to move over to that system. Seems better than the vendor league that we play now. I hear that their end of the year tournys are huge, over 800 players in 5 divisions in singles and almost 400 5 person teams at the team event.
 
I am actually in Wisconsin, but were going to start a league in Red Wing. Already been in touch with Wayne and he said hes been wanting a league in Red Wing for years.
 
I play in D&R. I am not a fan of the crap that is going on. They are handicapping the Masters for the year end tourney. They are already doing everything to cater to the weaker players. Free sportsmans divisions with huge payouts, paying out deep in the field and really equalizing the payouts. It is close to not even worth playing. Definitely not worth getting better for.

The year end tourney is big. But the only thing D&R watches out for is themselves. Old man Hawkins tries to run his operation like a mafia. You deal with their crap, or you have nothing.
