Trying to find a good place to pick up a cue in Ontario Canada. Would perfer in the Belleville region. Not really fond of the on line shopping. Like to see it before I buy it. Anyone have any suggestions that would be great

they all suck, real bad, Toronto has not seen a decent store in decades, never mind Belleville

buy online

I think FG Bradley has too few choices beside Dufferin and they mark up the price a lot.

I couldn't find any good place to buy cue in Toronto. I'm not too fond of eBay. I use Amazon because it is big company. Nevertheless I asked people what some reputable online store for pool products are and gave them a try. I had a great experience with Seyberts and I keep going back to them now.

I will have to recommend www.thewinningstroke.com . Thw owner Steve is located in the Gatineau, Ottawa area and has a very good rep among us and many others across Canada. I can guarantee great service. :)

I don't know what level of cue you're interested in, but I may be able to offer some suggestions, albeit not in Canada. The Billiard Warehouse has production cues and provides GREAT service www.billiardwarehouse.com . No worries dealing with them. If you want a fine selection of used high end cues, take a drive to Detroit one weekend and make an appointment to meet up with Jesse Nikon at Ball, Cue, and Brew, in Lincoln Park, Michigan. He always has new McDermotts, Vikings, Lucasis etc. , and a fair selection of used great cues like Scruggs, JossWests, Blacks etc. You can try anything out there before you buy it on a Diamond Pro, or a bar table, or a Dufferin 6 X 12...nice feature. You can even play with the new cues with special chalk ! The number is 313 381-7665. The area is not far from the Ambassador Bridge in Windsor/Detroit, has many reasonable motels, restaurants, bars etc. Everything you'd need for a cheap weekend excursion. I'm just a satisfied customer and go there to play once in a while, not promoting them. If you were coming I'd be willing to help if I could. Just PM me.

Also in Michigan, although on the other side of the state, there's always Seyberts. Great selection of production cues and cases. No problem dealing with them...in person, online, whatever. They are the oldest, the best, and the largest dealer of Predator stuff in the world I think.

Personally, I think you're at the BEST place to buy a custom cue. My favorite sellers include Bamacues, Lenoxmjs, and Jazznpool ie: www.westerncue.com You can deal with any of those guys without any reservations. I understand that shipping to Canada can be a slight problem, but each of those dealers are familiar with the routine. I hope this possibly helped...Tom

Aren't all Dufferins made in China now ? I thought that Dufferin in Canada folded up. Beware of Chinese junk...Tom
