Anyone Used Dr. Popper Jump Cue?

I'm looking for a dedicated jump cue. The Dr Popper looks kind of interesting, wondered if anyone has used it? The new one from OB looks like it could be good. Any other recommendations? I generally prefer the dart stroke.

I have a friend who is deadly with that jump cue. Do you know where I can get one?

I have a buddy that has one, I could not get it to work well for me. I have had a Jacoby and Mezz Air but last weekend bought a Easy Jumper sold by Dave Pearson "Ginger Wizard." It is by far the easiest jump cue that I have tried...

I thought the Easy Jumper was a bridge device to help jumping, not a jump cue?

Agreed

I agree with that post about Hanshew jumpers.I waited a long time to find one for sale and it came up as one from James. He personally delivered it to me *I'm not that far away from him* and from the one time I met him and everything I have heard of him, He is a really nice guy to meet!

Dr. Popper jump cues are for trick shots.

Mezz, Predator, Poison, Cuetec, Jacoby, and Customs are built for jumping in games.

That being said, out of all that I have tried, I'm currently using a RAT jump cue.

Best jumpers ive used was the first one made by Brent Hartman regret sellin it. And my Varney jumpbreak

My Varney J/B works great, but use my Predator BK III J/B and its great for the little jumping I do. Prefer to kick.

Dr. Popper is a strategic jump cue... IF you can afford to have one AND another jump cue there are places a jumper like the Dr. Popper can save your ass.... Currently I would go with the new Lift from OB or the Air 2 from predator... IF you don't like either you can get most of your money back immediately......

I bought a new Dr Popper to help a guy out, never hit a ball with it, and sold it to a kid who loves it.
Storage was kind of a pain in the ass.
Don't buy the Dr Popper, OB stuff is typically good.
I may get an OB Lift (I think that's what they call it)
Also, I wish I hadn't sold my Predator Air, it was a damn good jump cue.

Thanks to everyone for the recommendations. I like this recommendation. It isn't like these are big money. I also generally prefer to kick as I feel like I do that better than jump. However, there are times when a kick isn't an option and a jump cue like the Dr Popper, that can apparently get the CB in the air very quickly, could come in handy. I'll wait for a Predator Air to come up for sale here or until the new OB Jump Cues are on the shelves.

Give Samsara Cues a call, get a jump break shaft with their dart jump handle. Isn't going to be cheap, but is very effective.

Or if you are in the market for a new break cue as well, pick up one of their jump/break cues that comes with the dart jump handle & you will be all set. :)

Jacoby...I learned how to jump with no previous experience in minutes, after an hour or so I could really most easy shots. I also have a j&j that works great too

NOTHING jumps like a Joe Bouska made out of diamondwood. This makes all jump cues obsolete. Mike Massey uses these and sells them. They are way different than the norm. They are very heavy and pop the ball like magic. Sickest jump cue made. Heres Joes number. 806-2829662 $200
