Can a operator from a different area bounce my rating to a 7E / Super 8 when I go up to a tournament that they have .... I have established matches for years and they know I am a 7 in my area. They told me that is the only way I can play in that area.

That means they are scared of you :).

APA Rating 7 to Super 7 to Super 8 or &E

The League Operator can pretty much do what he/she wants to. There is a player in are area who plays in every APA tournament he can to make money. He seems to win alot of them so they made him an SL 8 in 8 Ball. Keep in mind there is not SL 8 in 8 ball. The funny thing is that there are a couple of players clearly better than him but they don't play in much of the tournaments so the keep them a SL 7.

The APA League Operators does this for one reason, to keep the SL 4, 5 & 6s happy. There is less than 2% of the total players in the APA that is a SL 7. Its all about the money.

Another way the APA can keeps the higher skill levels out is by paying a larger percentage of the field therebye lowering the 1st place money. Thats how they keep me out. Its not worth my time for 150.00 first place when theres 50+ players putting in 15.00 each. They will pay 32 places!

I was told that the Super 7 areas were optional, so most areas don't have such a rating. So you could've just gone into another area that had the other rating and with your actual numbers you qualified for such a rating?

Super 7s just have to win one more game, right?
