Aramith Duramith balls getting dirty quicker than others?

Brunswick Manhattan but rails were replaced years ago w/ Adler rails. Have #6 pockets now, black leather wrapped irons and I think I treated the leather about 6 months ago.(That could causing the black marks). Simonis 860 cloth, Silver Cup chalk, Rhino F1 Crystal Cue Tip.

I've been using Aramith Ball Restorer. I have the Aramith Ball Cleaner but have not used that yet. When I clean, I use a lot more than 2 drops. (That may be an issue). Maybe I should be using the cleaner instead.

Thanks, it seems like the issues may be too much cleaner, possible using Restorer instead of Cleaner, the pocket liners, miscuing and of course, the red cloth!
You are using waaaay too much of the wrong stuff. Takes rexus's advice and use a 90%alcohol/aramithcleaner mix. it only takes a little bit. the restorer is for balls that are filthy and haven't been cleaned in a while. nothing wrong with the balls. also, leave those pockets alone. anything u put on them will end up on the balls. lastly: get rid of that red cloth. unless its going in an old-west whorehouse it has no place in pool.

Thanks. What do I do at this point about the excess Restorer on the balls? Should I just let it wear off? I buffed them pretty well, I'm not sure doing that again will help.

* Just went and buffed all with a clean, cotton rag. Didn't clean up much but they definitely got slicker as I buffed. Gotta be residual Restorer coming off.

I would guess that you've ruined the Duramith coating. Didn't you notice how abrasive the Ball Restorer was when you were using it?

Here's what the Ball Restorer is for, i.e. when you need to sand about a 1/4 inch off the surface:
