Aramith Magnetic Cueballs

I'm looking for a line on some decently priced Aramith Magnetic Cueballs. I would prefer the Green Logo, but the ferrous core balls are acceptable. I need a quantity of 6. I don't mind if they are used, so long as they are in 'like new' condition.

I have been running an annual barbox 8 ball tournament, at our local American Legion, for the past 7 years. The 6 Valley tables are provided by a local vending company. They have treated us very well, always providing tables with fresh cloth, and brand new ball sets. However, the cueballs that they provide, are the standard magnetic balls, with an off balance core.

I am willing to purchase quality cueballs, out of my own pocket, but I am reluctant to spend $120, for a set of cueballs that will sit in a box for 364 days out of the year. I don't make a dime from this tournament, but I am proud to have people refer to it as "The best barbox tournament in Central New York".

I am still waiting to hear back from the local vending company, but figured I would ask around here as well.

Thank you.

I assume the vendor does not allow you to open the tables to use a standard non-magnetc ball. Regardless, if the table is set up the magnetic cue ball, if it is the last ball in, will stop in the table, requiring another set of quarters to retrieve your green Aramith. If you still need them in March PM me. I may have a few.

magnetic cue ball

If you want an even better experience get the new aramith purple Logo balls the are the new and improved cueballs to replace the old technology of the green logo ones. They play very good better then the green logos. I can't tell the difference between the purple logo and the red circle.

Thanks for the replies. We can't open the tables up, so a magnetic ball is required. I will look into the purple logo balls, as I have yet to try them.

If I can't come up with a solution for the upcoming tournament, I may still be interested in March.

Thanks again.

Purple may be the way to go! I've not seen one but I'm getting Diamonds in March. That's when the green label Aramiths will be available ... well used though.
