Are cues safe being packed in a suitcase when flying ?

THats what i did.

i bought a suitcase big enough to fit most of what i needed travelwise
while at the same time fit my case across it diagonally.
Whitten cases are tanks and i had no fears.
 
I wouldn't ship anything expensive or rare that way. You can easily get jacked by the baggage handlers.:frown:
 
now i have on the other hand had about a grand or so worth of fishing poles destroyed by the airlines that were stored in a BazookaTube. Hmmmm how much do ya think it'l cost to get a 7 foot whitten that'll hold 4-5 rods?????

no matter how you ship sumthin isn't that risk the same ? ie post office employees, fed ex, ups, etc..

There's risk for both, but your chances of having something stolen out of your unlocked, checked luggage is much higher than having it stolen from an individually tracked, sealed overnight package.
