What Ball set is used in the 2022 Asian 9 Ball Open? The appearance is very similar to the Dynasphere Platinum set but, with traditional colors and a black measles type cue ball. I know Matchroom has a relationship with Aramith but I was unable to find any further details online.

Thanks for any info and assistance on this topic.

What I know, Dynaspheres has delivered or are on the way to deliver new 2022 ball sets to several agents/dealers.
I got them and will get more in 3 weeks from now, but I'm in Sweden/EU.

Let's say like this, contact me if you can't get any Palladium from Dynaspheres homepage or any dealer close to you within 4 weeks.

What ever happened to just using a traditional set of balls? I don't get it.

Well, I get the profit motive of wanting to sell an endless variety of "special" tournament sets - but other than that there is near zero merit or use for all these strange designs, colors, and variations.

I believe the Palladium set is for the Asian market only as is the set of Rhodiums I recently purchased from eBay seller us82779. Perhaps you could reach out to see if they can get the Palladiums.

Rhodiums:

Going by what I was told by a distributor here in the US.

Are there any high quality sets (from any manufacturer) that do not have any blue (in any shade) balls whatsoever?

Going by what I was told by a distributor here in the US.

I guess your US distributor is wrong, most distributors who has placed new orders will soon get the new 2022 ball sets, as I said before, I already got them and soon I get more shipments from Dynaspheres.

My US distributor told me he couldn't get the Rhodiums direct from Dynashperes because they weren't available here. Perhaps all sets are available in Europe but not North America.

Dynasphere Tungsten may be closest, the blue is very teal and purple in that set.

I had a suspicion that the Tungsten set was likely the best quality option. I’m not really a fan of that set. Thanks for the reply.

I've never seen a set that didn't;t have at least some shade of blue. Even this obscure Hyatt set has blue in it.
