Are there any weekly tournaments in the New York area?
Well I normally play at Classic Billiards either East or West. West is located on west ridge road(Rt 104) near Greece ridge mall. East is in Irondequoit. There is a big tournament coming up the weekend of Aug 25-26. Calcutta is Friday night with tournament being Sat and Sun. It's called the Titan Tour. These guys from titan also make custom cues and I am looking into getting one made. A local house pro plays with one and he likes it. 500 bucks added and first place is something like 1000-1200 bucks. Entry fee is 40 bucks if I remember. It is at Classic Billiards East. They also hold thurs night 8-ball on bar boxes but payouts are pretty low. It's 15 entry with 5 going to table time.

you probably know Julio (Ron Constanza) and Dave Grau and Lee? Everybody look for these guys to play at the Turning Stone in a couple of weeks. They have all placed in past tourneys there as well as the Joss Northeast stops around here.
