Each match will consist of:
A race to 3 9-Ball & a race to 3 8-Ball and a tie break set of either a race to 2 8-Ball or a race to 3 9-Ball.

Players will lag for the first break / the first set played will be the race to 3 9-Ball. The winner of the the first set gets to break the race to 3 8-Ball. If the same player wins both sets he has won the match. If the sets are split they will play a tie break set. The players will lag once again, whoever wins the lag has the choice to play either a race to 2 8-Ball or a race to 3 9-Ball and also gets the first break in the tie break set. whichever player wins the tie break set wins the match.

Entry Fee $25.00 ($20.00 to tourney / $5.00 table fee)
Double Elimination / APA Rules / Alternate Breaks / No jump cues allowed / Play on 7ft coin-op tables / Tables open / Added money $5.00 per player.

This same event ran in Joliet IL and was a huge success...

The event in aurora on Feb 26 (sunday) should prove to be an even larger success.

Many of the players from Joliet said that they were definately make the drive to Aurora. They loved the format.

I encourage all pool enthusiasts to try this one...lots of fun and good prize money.
