Answer ?

Word has been spread around Austin, there is a BCA season ending tournament that day at another hall...but only 4 or 5 teams...this is the first time for this tournament, so it's hard to say. They just had a APA womens 9-ball tournament here, this past weekend and they had 37 players show up for it...?? This tournament is limited to 32 players though...if anyone wants to call Craig on Friday and reserve a spot...feel free to give him a call. All spots must be paid no later than 11:15 am. or your spot will be given to the next available person. They also have 2 tournaments on Friday night starting at 8:30...$5 entry for Friday nights. Good place with good food and good prices.

*** This is a one day tournament***

Call in Friday

If you would like to call in and reserve a spot...give the TD Craig Keefer a call and he will put you on he list. Limited to 32 players. 512-775-6503

Turn out..

I will have to get the exact figures from Craig...but I think there were at least 15 players...and around $800+ is payouts. This is the first time for this one...but I think with a little more advertising, and time...it will be a good tournament and will grow. Come to find out..there were 2 different events going on here in Austin, and one in Houston...so it was a busy weekend to start a tournament. There are more plans of improvement in the works as well. It isn't firm yet...but they are planning on doing some work on the tables...recover...red circle cue balls...new racks...etc. I will try and get the turn out and payouts listed here tomorrow. But I do know that David Neuman from Austin won this tournament...and the pay out for first place tournament money was around $300 for first. Players meeting and places will follow. I do believe they are planning next month on the 3rd Saturday of the month.
