No real decent places to play downtown. But just north of downtown on Airport Blvd is The Grand, formally known as Eric's Billiards. Its old-school pool hall. They have about 5 nine foot Gold Crown's and about 8 or so eight foot tables and a couple of bar boxes and some darts. Even a domino table.

They have a 9ball tournament on Thursday nights. $10 starting at 7:30pm


There is also a Slick Willie's not too far south from downtown on Lamar Blvd. They have a Sunday night tournament starting around 8pm.
 
Good suggestions. If you are playing today down at Slick Willie's on South Lamar on Wednesday they have a wristband special...$5.00 + tax and you can play all day/night. They have about 30 8 foots with kinda slow cloth and two decent 9 foots up front, all are Brunswick Medalists.

There's a 9-ball tournament at the Grand tomorrow night. $10 to get in and they have a break pot. Also check out Clicks on E. Oltorf. It's a good crowd and they have three very good 9' GC III's. Something that may interest you. Sat. the 6th there is a monthly 9-ball tournament at clicks in Waco. Check for info in the tournament section of the forum.
