Have scanned just about every applicable catalog on Brunswick's Library/historical record. Each shows the various patent ball returns (Gully pockets) but unless i am missing something, all but a couple of the color table images is a billiard, or a drop pocket.

There are some photos of dealer or eBay sales tables, but they either have drop pockets again, or the pocket faces look poorly considered (Ugly :smile
with the rest of the design. Hard to believe they were as original Brunswick.
The table my wife got a couple weeks ago (long term/fall project) was clearly delivered from the factory with the Brunswick "lightening tubular ball return", but converted to drop pockets. Maybe i'm just exceptionally dumb, but would at least like to understand the options for restoring it to original - unless the original pocket faces were as, let's say "strange" as some of the modern online restorations strike me.
