This seems to be the Auto-response letter sent back by Jason@nolimit9ball.com

Good afternoon! I am so excited about the word traveling for this new show. I encourage ANY advertising you would like to do. We are accepting applications from players anywhere in the country. We want amatuer players who can definately hold their own on a table, work well under pressure and who have great personalities! If you have any questions about the show and where we will be holding open calls, please go to our website: www.nolimit9ball.com or feel free to call me @ 323-762-8049

Thanks again for your support!

It sure would have been nice to know they was going to be in Houston before the 1st of February. Seeing how they was here January 30th!

Nice publicity, should do well!

I'd be interested in how they define 'amatuer'.

Dave, who hasn't gone to their website, just pointing out that pesky old amateur vs. professional issue that haunts this unorganized sport...

I asked him this question twice, he did not respond either time. (Yep, I hold grudges.)

I looked at the application form, and they ask some reasonable questions. I would imagine that anyone who put too high a value in the 'how much money have you won at pool ?' and 'how much at one time ?' would not be selected. As well, I'd guess that an ugly little troll like myself would have a tough time getting in, although I have no valid work permit for the USA anyway.

It will be interesting to read the posts about who does make the show, considering that a forum like this is bound to have the dirt on a lot of players :) Someone who some consider a pro will undoubtedly sneak in under the radar. Given the premise of the show it is to be expected :)
