Hey guys I have a cue that was signed by last years MC team and I would like to have it cleared over or some kind of protective coating over them. Can anyone give me advice on what to do?
Thanks for any help I can get

Thanks for ur reply sir. Could you point me in the direction of someone that could do this. I will mail it to anyone that is trustworthy without a problem. If it's you please pm me and we will try to speak over the phone.

Let me back up a minute and apologize(I guess). I've known players who brushed nail polish over a sig and it's a disaster(the solvents break down the ink and it smears). Spray might work, but onto a glossy surface I wouldn't want to guarantee anything won't peel off in sheets later. I recommended the clear decal, as it would be a pretty benign solution to start with.

The first problem is the kind of ink. The second is getting ANYTHING to cover it AND having it stick. Waterslides will stick to a glossy surface, so I'm thinking that is the best option. Since you aren't printing onto them, solvaset can be used to help with the edges.

Depending on the value of the cue, I'd suggest retiring it. What you want done probably won't be cheap.

If you post a pic here of the cue it would help and perhaps one of the more knowledgeable people on here can chime in..

Thanks Randy for the explanation. The cue is just about a 4-500 dollar cue so it's not worth a lot. I would probably be better off like you said. Just retire the cue and put it in a little display case. Thanks for helping me clear this up
