Lot of guys have been around. Apparently there was some guy that had an army years ago, honestly no clue wth he was but a lot of guys/gals here are cool as hell, Recognize them. I’ll nominate GreyGhost and Bava.

For posterity and a link back for future threads:
RSB [rec.sport.billiards] was a bulletin board popular in the 90s [also alt.sport.pool]
Mike and Jerry started AZB around 1998
AZB rebooted around 2003 (vBulletin).
In the first month [3/22-4/22] a few hundred people joined, including (some RIP):
JimbosArmy was a mid-2000s thing. Jimbo didn't leave until like 2007.
He was a great pool supporter and even hosted the JimboJambo in 2004.
AZB rebooted again using Xenforo in 2020.
Currently, AZB shows over 50,000 members now, but not all of them are active.
I'm member #353 (after the 2003 reboot). I was also RSB. I was at the JimboJambo. There are a few of us still hanging around.

The advanced search function has dates so you can find early threads. Here's one of the first of the new forums. AZB seems to have started in the 1990s, but the posts before March 22, 2003 were lost in the transition to the current site.
And if you click on someone's avatar, and get to their profile, you will see their member number in the URL. I'm 1686.
