Well, I gave it my best but did not advance. Now I know why it is called "open" there were a lot of awesome players there. I lost my first set to a kid from Spain 5-0 and almost came back from a 3-0 to lose 5-2. I had more luck playing the hustlers in the main lobby for 10 or $20 a game. I saw Jeanette Lee at the local hall "cue club", and Rodney Morris,Ralph Souquet,Alex Pagulayan, abd Thorsten Hohmann all at seperate times in the hallway hanging out. The event was awesome, I had a great time and cant wait to make it back.
