Back to the basics!!!

Hey guys,

I just finished my first try at the IPAT 1 test. I shot a 973 which made me happy, but I did bad on the first two parts that involve hitting the ball straight up and down the table (sounds easy, but isn't). I am not going to progress to stage 2 until I can shoot 80% on those two parts (I also need some work on kicking). When I video my stroke it looks like I angle my back hand towards my hips ( when viewed from behind my forearm is not perfectly up and down). I am going back and reading all the stance and stroke parts of Precision Pool and The 99 Critical Shots book to try to fix my problem. If anybody has some suggestions I would appreciate it.

Thanks,

Corey
