I've been watching a lot of SVB videos lately, and I noticed something about his backswing. On most shots, it seems like he doesn't even really pull back that much.
I tried it out today, and it went pretty well. I'm assuming it's because you have less chance to veer off the line when you pull back.
Are there any negatives to having a small backswing? Obviously it works well for Shane, but I'm talking about us mere mortals here.
